New Series: Book as a Bev

If you’ve lingered around here before, you may have noticed the occasional recipe testing mentioned on my weekly progress posts.

And while most of those are from baked goodies or savory dishes, some have been from at home beverages that I’ve been crafting.

I’ve been thinking over the last few months of turning my book collection into an assortment of drinks based on the images and colors on the cover.

Below is a rough idea of what I hope to bring into fruition over the next thirty days.

I feel like using food coloring would be an easy out, so I hope to be as creative as possible with the ingredients I use.

I hope I can stick to it, and I’m excited to see what I can come up with.

If you’re interested in hearing a bit more about me and the idea, I’ve made a sort of intro video that you can watch here:

I plan to make a video of the process of making each drink. Then I’ll share an image of the final product, along with all of the ingredients used and a recipe card should anyone want to recreate it. If anyone needs it, I’ll try to make a sheet with the tools and other items used as well.

30 days – 30 drinks

I’m looking forward to sharing it, here’s to a new month!
